I found an unusual building on the way from the hotel to Tenmonkan. The locals are probably used to it. Only I am taking pictures and looking at the buildings. The shutter says “A killer’s visit.” It looks like a termite eradication company. Even in Okinawa, termite damage is enormous. There are many people in Kagoshima who are in trouble because they can build their own buildings in downtown areas by removing termites.

I ate so much at the social gathering, so at the izakaya I ordered the sashimi of Kibinago (Silver-stripe Round Herring) I really wanted to eat. it’s beautiful. The coloring and silvery skin are beautiful, but the arrangement is also artistic. There is a memory that I used to read this in “Misumi Shinbo” when it was Kagoshima-ryu that was served with vinegared miso. Besides, I originally liked sashimi of blue fish, so I ate more and more.

The second party was also exciting. Next is the third one. I want to eat ramen after drinking lightly with a local woman. There are two people who accompany me with such an idea. One says he wants to drink with a woman but not to eat ramen. The other argues that it is not necessary to drink with a woman or eat ramen.

A local acquaintance said. There is a recommended bar near here. We followed him. One is still astringent. We walked through the building and opened a fancy door. It is an extraordinary space. But full. Too bad. We go to the next bar. This time the seats were vacant. We entered the bar. There is brown sugar shochu so I will order it. Both of them seemed to have fun. I also enjoyed drinking.

And ramen. Again, we headed to the ramen shop with three people. We have never drank together in Okinawa, I think we will never drink locally. The destination is “Kokinta”. A ramen shop recommended by local Kagoshima people. The ramen shop on the outskirts of the Astronomical Museum stood in a place with few people. The ramen shop is full.

Luckily the counter seats were vacant soon so we were able to get there. Ramen and dumplings. It is the basic form of ordering and also the golden combination. As expected, one person has many, so three people ordered two.

While talking, the ramen came in. Sip the soup. It’s pork bone based but it’s light. It seems that it also contains chicken and seafood. The noodles are straight thin, but not as thin as Hakata ramen. It’s like a straight noodle. It has a unique texture and elasticity.

There is plenty of cabbage in the soup. We can enjoy the crispy texture by eating this together with the noodles. The char siu is small and easy to eat. Oh, gyoza came out. delicious. To be honest, I remember the taste of ramen, but not the taste of gyoza. I remember only what was delicious.

The next day, when I went to the airport, I found Kokonita Ramen at the shop. It’s a really famous store. I can understand that prosperity. If I go home like this, I would buy a souvenir, but the business trip is not over yet. I boarded a Haneda flight and left Kagoshima.
