I decided to drink with my acquaintance Shimada after a long time. At first, he recommended a Japanese restaurant, but I wanted to eat western food, meat too. The next restaurant Shimada presented is “Meat Bar Northman” located on the 3rd floor of the building next to Gin Dako near the Roppongi intersection. It seems that Shimada acquaintances who know everything about Roppongi said, “I’m worried, but I’ve never been there.”

Then I want to go to the next meaty place. Mascot girl Honoka-chan pushes “Yumeaji Pork Rib Roast Steak”, which is limited to 10 meals a day. I also want to drink wine. The wine cost ratio of this shop is 60%. It is an exceptional service in the food and drink industry, where the cost is basically tripled.

In this restaurant, women on the floor are called “mascot girls”. Honoka, who likes beer and rock, was in charge of us. How she was in the same high school as Shimada. I asked her when she graduated, she said “2016…”, so the middle-aged men decided not to ask any more. Even Shimada graduated in 1988.

The meat is tender, and when I chew, the broth oozes out and the umami spreads in my mouth. This goes for sake. Saltiness is also good. Good job.

According to Honoka-chan, the name of the restaurant was named because both the “Northman” owner and manager were from Hokkaido, and that they wanted to use ingredients from northern Japan as much as possible. The previous pork was also from Fukushima.

I want to eat another dish. The wine is empty, so I’d like to order it. I don’t need carbohydrates. Add meat. Ask Honoka-chan for recommendations. She proposed “roasted beef hearts”. The heart of a cow. Honoka-chan cuts this hotly baked product. I try to eat it immediately… Ah, I forgot the taste because I drunk so much, or I don’t remember. I only remember that it’s different from meat.
